Frequently ask questions
Below are some of the top frequently asked questions regarding the dashboard:
What do the color indicators mean on the status screen?
Green means your numbers are higher than both last year and budget. Yellow means you're behind either budget or last year (but ahead of one). Red means you're behind both last year and budget. Blue indicates no data is available.
How do I view data for specific properties if I manage multiple hotels?
Enter the property name in the Filter box above the display. By default, you'll see all properties, but you can filter to view specific hotels.
What time period does the status screen show by default?
The screen shows the current month plus the following three months. You can expand this to an 8-month or 12-month view using the dropdown at the top right.
What's the difference between the left, center, and right columns?
The left shows on-the-books data (ADR, RevPAR, Revenue) for each month. The center and right show rooms sold over the past week and month-to-date. Numbers in brackets indicate group bookings.
Should I compare by weekday or calendar date?
For single-day data, compare by weekday to avoid comparing different days of the week. For aggregated data, some hotels prefer calendar date comparison to keep months aligned properly.
