Price limit safeguards

The RMS includes upper and lower price limits at the top of the screen to prevent pricing errors when entering manual overrides.

The below will outline in detail about the pricing safeguards and error prevention alerts:

Price limits provide security when making manual adjustments by:

  • Preventing prices that are too high and may block bookings.

  • Stopping prices that are too low and could erode profits.

  • Adding confidence for revenue managers making pricing changes.

Error prevention alerts will alert you when you enter a price outside the set limits:

  • The affected cell highlights in red

  • A pop-up notification appears with:

    • Details of the error

    • The established price limits
